Continuing Education Workshops
AQUALATES® Pool-to-Studio
Most AQUALATES® exercises originate from the Pilates studio and encompass
exercises from all pieces of apparatus, as well as the mat. In this "Translation" workshop we will examine
and discuss the biomechanical differences between strength-building exercises
in the Pilates Studio and Aquatic training venues, as participants are given an opportunity to experience corresponding Pilates exercises on the
Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels. For those with aquatic certifications other
than AQUALATES®, this workshop is filled with ideas for expanding upon your current strength
& tone workouts.
